Chronic Conditions Treatment & Management of Chronic Conditions

Exercise physiology is the study of the acute responses and chronic adaptations to a wide range of physical exercise conditions. In addition, many exercise physiologists study the effect of exercise on pathology, and the mechanisms by which exercise can reduce or reverse disease progression.

Accredited Exercise Physiologists (AEP’s) treat and manage a broad range of conditions, these include a range of commonly preventable and treatable health conditions. We implement exercise as a treatment strategy to assist clients in:

  • Chronic diseases- Type II Diabetes Mellitus, Cardiovascular Disease, Stroke, Arthritis, Cancer and Metabolic Syndromes (Obesity)
  • Chronic Respiratory Diseases and Asthma
  • Risk factor management- Hypertension, Physical Activity Levels, Dietary Education, Pre-Diabetic and High Cholesterol
  • Neurological conditions- Parkinson’s, Dementia, Alzheimer’s, PTSD, Anxiety and Depression.
  • Musculoskeletal imbalances- lower back pain, knee pain, hip pain, shoulder pain, etc.
  • Falls Prevention and Balance Improvement
  • Gait Retraining
  • Post surgery rehabilitative exercises
  • Hydrotherapy
  • Difficulty maintaining motivation and adherence to exercise routines
  • Emphasis on using exercise to help build Farmer's strength, so you can function well all day.

My EP offers one on one Strength, Conditioning and Rehabilitation sessions or group sessions are available. You can choose from 8 different clinics across the Sunshine Coast.

Congratulations on having the best Exercise Physiology clinic on the Sunshine Coast. Every week I am motivated to attend his classes; the sessions are stimulating both mentally and physically and mixed with a good amount of fun. I have kept mobile and energised for the past 3 years and this is due to the mammoth exertion of Jesse Goldfinch.

Rita Larsen

I can’t express my pleasure in the results that Jesse Goldfinch has gained for me. When I started with him I was 106kg, after 12 months I am 87kg and still losing weight. He has also removed my limp in my right leg after knee replacement surgery. My compliments go to him and his efforts.

Malcolm Musgrave

I am Grateful for the opportunity of partaking of the treatment provided by exercise physiologist Jesse Goldfinch. In my advanced years the gentle exercise has improved my lifestyle & helped me in many ways.
