MyEP Exercise Physiologists main focus is to assist the injured client in understanding their injury and the best practicable ways of rehabilitation, for improving quality of life and return to work. These services are claimable with insurers through WorkCover QLD, CTP Insurance, Income Protection and Life Insurance schemes.
MyEP conducts programs tailored to the clients ailments and goals, in conjunction with the insurers and other rehab providers. The objective of the program is to show the client functional exercises and give them the tools to prevent and manage further episodes of their condition. The implemented exercise program is intended to help the client return to how they were before the accident/injury and return to work, if this is not possible improvements in their work capacity.
After prior approval, the client is taken through an initial assessment that includes standardised outcome measurements obtained by subjective questionnaires and objective measures. Throughout the clients intervention, communication with all relevant parties will be kept up to date, with relevant information about the treatment.
MyEP Exercise Physiologists design and implement tailored programs to enable a clients return of independence at home. MyEP works in conjunction with other health professionals to help the client be less dependent on home based care and paid assistance schemes.

These services are claimable with insurers through Income Protection, Lifetime Care, MyAgedCare Packages and Support and Life Insurance schemes.
Used in conjunction with a pre-employment medical assessment, MyEP Exercise Physiologists provide Pre-Employment Functional screenings to test an employee’s capacity to work. The screenings are tailored to the person’s perspective job role. An examination usually involves:
- Blood pressure
- Weight and height
- Hip to Waist Ratio
- Body Mass Index
- Grip Strength
- Cardiovascular fitness
- Postural analysis
- Musculoskeletal strength (squatting, bending, grip strength and reaching)
- Lung Function (spirometry)
- Balance and flexibility (Range of Motion)
